Best Time to Wear: Between 6:15 AM to 7:15 AM and 12:15 PM to 2:30 PM.

Metal: Gold or Silver Ring with a Gold Cap. Panchdhatu / Ashthdhatu can also be used if gold is out of economic constraints.

Weight: Ideally, the minimum weight of Pukhraj that should be worn is calculated according to your body weight. (15 – 18 kgs of body weight denotes 1 carat) For example, if your weight is 72 kgs, you can wear any good quality 4 carat Pukhraj.

How to Wear: After the ring, pendant, or relevant jewelry is prepared in gold or panchdhatu, the procedure to wear it should be followed as below:

1. The Yellow Sapphire you own and are going to wear should have gone through the Pran Pratishtha before sending it to you. This includes East, North, and North East facing on an auspicious day and nakshatra for performing pooja.
2. Wash the gemstone with Gangaajal, Kumkum, and Sandal and place it on the thaal.
3. Light an incense stick in front of the gemstone and enchant the mantra “Om Brim Brihaspataye Namah” (ॐ बृं बृहस्पतये नमः) to create a live energy inside the stone.
4. Place the ring in a metal bowl. Add Gangaajal, raw cow milk, honey, tulsi leaves, and ghee. Recite “Om Gram Greem Groom Saha Gurvey Namah” (ॐ ग्रां ग्रीं ग्रौं सः गुरुवे नमः) OR “Om Brim Brihaspataye Namah” (ॐ बृं बृहस्पतये नमः).
5. Immediately remove the ring, clean it with water and wear it on the working hand Index finger.

Recharging Your Yellow Sapphire: To keep on getting positive results out of your gemstone for a longer time, you can follow the below steps:

1. Take a glass bowl and add turmeric powder in holy water.
2. Dip the Yellow Sapphire (in gold) in it and keep it in sunrise (6 to 9 am) on Thursday.
3. Take it out and wear it again as mentioned.
